Biobased encapsulation holds a tremendous

To combat previously incurable plant diseases both curatively and preventively, we have developed a platform technology which makes it possible for the first time.
In addition to the use in crop protection, our platform technology of biobased lignin microcarriers also offers further potentials in other industries and application areas. Examples of this are the use in the development of new flame retardants or in 3D printing, which can open up new business areas for LigniLabs in the future.
Our microcarriers are made of modified lignin and are biodegradable. They can be modified to release active ingredient over time or to retain it completely until the lignin capsule is degraded.
